Description

A wonderfully unique wallpaper pattern that skillfully blends florals, both real and imaginary, with other botanical elements for a delightful effect. Despite being over 200 years old, the design has a modern aesthetic and cannot fail to bring character into a space. Select one or two colours from the wallpaper for paint, fabric and accessories to complete the interior look. In Verde the fresh mint green is highlighted with trending lilac, olive and pinks.

Kilburn’s Maze Archive inspiration: Design for a printed cotton, William Kilburn (1745–1818), London, 1788–92

Based on the artwork of William Kilburn, a well-known calico designer and printer of the 18th century, this intricate, magical design has an amazingly contemporary feel. The V&A houses many of his watercolour creations in the Kilburn Album, where his artistry combines floral themes with exotic foliage, inviting you to embark on a journey into a whimsical imaginary world.
