Floral Serenade Archive inspiration: Furnishing fabric, Morton Sundour from the “Cumberland Prints” series, England, 20th century

This design was originally part of Morton Sundour's "Cumberland Prints" range and depicts clematis, tree peonies and stylised birds. Morton Sundour was a British textile manufacturer formed in Carlisle in 1914 and was best known for upholstery fabrics. Showcasing the intricate harmony between flora and fauna, it invites the viewer to experience the wonder of nature.
