Ref:2412-178-03
Description

Illustrating the idyllic beauty of a wildflower meadow this Arts and Crafts style floral wallpaper features bluebells, daisies and dandelion clocks. The traditionally printed design has an elegantly crafted texture with slightly raised inks giving character to the flowers and subtle texture to the tiny slub effect in the background. It creates a charming ambience in any room and is perfectly suited to its original “Sweet Home” title. Subtle chalky inks in green, ochre, lilac and white make this Celeste turquoise option extremely versatile.

Available in 5 colours: The Prussian Blue original, Forest, Celeste, Spring and Cream

Flower Meadow Archive inspiration: Dulce Domum wallpaper, Walter Crane, (1845–1915), woodblock print on paper, manufactured by Jeffrey & Co., England, 1904

Walter Crane was a devoted Socialist who firmly believed in the transformative power of regularly exposing individuals from all socioeconomic groups to the arts. The pattern’s Latin name, Dulce Domum, translates to "Sweet Home" and was created by renowned printers Jeffrey & Co. in 1904. Reimagining Crane’s woodblock printed wallpaper was made easy thanks to the expert printing skills at the 1838 Lancashire factory.
