A timeless, nature inspired pattern of intertwining grasses reinterpreted from an archive printed cotton. Ornamental Grasses wallpaper combines two traditional printing processes: Surface and Flexo printing. Surface print provides a rich ink coverage and captivating, painterly effect, whilst the finer Flexo print delicately highlights the flowing line details of the leaves for a sophisticated, elegant style.

Soft, cream shades make up the Natural colour of this graceful design.

Ornamental Grasses Archive Inspiration: Furnishing fabric, Hindley’s, England, 1870–90
Based on a printed cotton furnishing or chintz held in the V&A’s textile collection that was originally produced in the 1870s by Hindley’s on Oxford Street, London. These block-printed cottons were particularly popular among the middle and upper classes in Britain and were used primarily for home furnishings, such as curtains and bedspreads.
